New England Chapter
of the Health Physics Society
The
New England Chapter of the Health Physics Society (NECHPS®) is an
association of radiation safety professionals organized exclusively
for scientific and educational purposes.
The NECHPS® functions
under the direct sponsorship of the Health
Physics Society.
NECHPS® was established in 1961. The chapter's objectives are
to:
aid in the work of health physics
improve the dissemination of information between individuals in this field and related fields
improve public understanding of the problems and needs in radiation protection
promote health physics as a profession
promote within the Chapter's jurisdiction the activities of the Health Physics Society
The Chapter is authorized by Charter and ByLaws sanctioned by the Health Physics Society to solicit members in the states of Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.
Throughout
the over 50 years of its history,
the NECHPS® has been privileged to serve the radiation protection
community in the New England area.
NECHPS, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Please help us continue to serve students and the health physics community by donating directly to NECHPS, Inc. or adding NECHPS, Inc to charitable payroll deduction lists at work, like the United Way.
